Data and Analysis is a division in DEFACTUM. We manage data in all phases of research and development projects within public health including planning, designing, data collection, analysis and presentation of results. We have a strong focus on data security, and strive to be updated on legislative issues regarding collection, handling and storage of data.

We are continuously developing data models for monitoring effects of hospital treatment programmes for selected patient groups. Furthermore, our Data Management and Monitoring unit has developed the web-based research portal e-Trial®, which assists researchers to manage complex questionnaire data and collection processes.

Among the main tasks are:

  • Supporting researchers by securing valid quantitative data.
  • Giving advice on ethical and legal guidelines for conducting research projects within health and social science.
  • Developing methods for data capture across multiple registries, and for assessment of labour market participation using registry data.
